los angeles superior court no longer uses GC Services

GC Services Limited Partnership ("GC Services") is a private collection agency in North America.

GC Services was used by the Los Angeles County Superior Court prior to June 2022 to try to collect money from delinquent (unpaid) traffic tickets.

Collection Agencies receive cases when:-

  • The traffic ticket has not been paid by the due date on the ticket
  • A court appearance date was missed
  • After an appearance in front of a judge in court, a fine was not paid or community service was not done by the due date.

Tickets in collection with GC Services have been transferred to 2 other collection agencies

As of September 2022, the Los Angeles Superior Court is using 2 new collection agencies instead of GC Services. All traffic tickets that were with GC Services collections agency have now been transferred to Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson LLP or Harris and Harris.

The Los Angeles Superior court have assigned 5 Courts with their tickets to Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson LLP and the other 14 courthouses have been assigned to the other collection agency Harris and Harris.  See Collection Agencies for more detail.
