Help with clearing up any problems with your license
The Los Angeles Superior Court is no longer using the services of GC Services
As of June 2020, the Los Angeles Superior Court is no longer using the services of GC Services (a collection agency).
If you failed to appear for your traffic ticket that was issued before the COVID crisis in early 2020, your ticket was most likely referred to a collection agency GC Services because of your failure to appear in court. (Case Status - In Collections FTA or Last Action - FTA RF Phase 1 or FTA RF Phase 2). If you contact GC Services now about your ticket you will be most likely told that the Los Angeles Superior Court now controls your ticket. All traffic tickets that were transferred to GC Services collections agency have now been returned to the Los Angeles Superior Court System.
The Case Status of your ticket will probably be:-
- In Collections FTA
- or FTA RF Phase 1
- or FTA RF Phase 2.

- A court appearance date was missed
- After an appearance in front of a judge in court, a fine was not paid or community service was not done by the due date.
